Welcome to The Corridor. We’re glad you’re here. We are launching a new site today for the purpose of supporting the growing popularity and great personal benefits of using complementary currencies. You can read more about the intention of the site and how it will be organized by clicking here: http://thecorridor.net/about-us/

The site is modeled on the same basic technology as social networks such as Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn. Once you register you are free to comment and make connections with other members. Your first comment will be moderated and after that they will post instantly, however please keep in mind that this site is for ‘General Audiences” and will be moderated consistently with professional and courteous business practices. One important difference is you are allowed to delete your entire profile at anytime. Unlike Facebook, we believe you should own your profile, that’s why we don’t have a Facebook login, but please tell your friends on Facebook about TheCorridor.net.

If your business accepts complementary currencies or if you are an issuer of currencies, feel free to include a modest amount of promotion or a link to your business or product in your posts. As the “metro” areas of the site develops you will have opportunities to focus your message to members who are within your geographic community (similar to how Craig’s List is organized). Feel free to start your own “group” for anything relevant to complementary currency or alternative forms of money that interests you.

Please sign up by clicking on “sign up” in the upper left hand corner of this page, or clicking here: http://thecorridor.net/wp-login.php?action=register We will send you an email confirming your registration. It’s easy and FREE. We are just beginning the process of publishing a global directory of complementary currencies. To find a currency in your area, click here http://thecorridor.net/global-directory-of-complementary-currencies/ or on the upper right hand corner of this page.
